Swanson ® L-Lysine is a food supplement designed to supplement the daily diet of adults with L-lysine. The preparation uses lysine derived from the inorganic form of hydrochloride. Each capsule contains 500 mg of active ingredient enclosed in a gelatin shell.
L-lysine - properties
Lysine is an organic chemical compound belonging to the group of 20 protein amino acids. For humans, it is an exogenous amino acid. The body cannot synthesize it on its own and must be supplied with food as part of a balanced diet. Rich sources of lysine include, among others: eggs, fatty fish (halibut, salmon, tuna, sardines, herring, mackerel, cod), yellow and cottage cheese, red meat, dairy products, poultry (chicken, turkey), dairy and soy products.
The recommended daily dose of Swanson ® L-Lysine 500 mg Free-Form is 2-3 capsules. A large pack of 300 pieces will allow for long-term supplementation with L-lysine.
