Urgosterile 200x100mm 20 pcs
Description
Urgosterile wound dressing 100 x 200 mm sterile, 20 pieces
Characteristics:
The Urgosterile dressing is a sterile, self-adhesive wound dressing consisting of a stretchable, white non-woven fabric backing coated with an adhesive and an integrated, absorbent non-woven pad covered with a non-adherent layer.
This product is a medical device. Please read the instructions in the package leaflet carefully and familiarize yourself thoroughly with its functions and use before use.
Product features at a glance:
- It is breathable, allowing the wound to breathe and preventing maceration.
- Optimal hold, leaves no residue on the skin.
- The sterile dressing reduces the risk of infection.
- Hypoallergenic due to its high skin compatibility.
- The compress absorbs exudates and does not stick to the wound thanks to its non-adherent layer.
- It adheres to all four sides, thus providing comprehensive protection for the wound.
Areas of application:
- Protection and covering of superficial wounds (abrasions, cuts), low-exuding sutured wounds, and postoperative wounds. A wound or cut is considered superficial if only the skin or the directly underlying fat layers are affected. If an accidental superficial wound is longer than 3 cm, a doctor should be consulted within 6 hours of the accident to assess whether the wound needs to be sutured or treated (closed with special surgical adhesive).
Precautions:
- For persons under 16 years of age, the bandage must be applied by an adult.
- Use a sterile, disposable dressing; do not reuse or reposition a dressing that has already been applied: risk of infection and impairment of adhesion if re-fixed and left on the wound.
- Do not re-sterilize. Check that the sterility seal is intact before use. Do not use if the packaging is damaged.
- Regularly check the wound and surrounding area for signs of infection such as pain, redness, swelling, odor, or pus formation.
- Do not use on deep, unstitched wounds, bleeding wounds, or heavily exuding wounds.
- Any serious incident related to the product must be reported to the manufacturer and the relevant national authority.
