Treating acute symptoms, preventing recurring urinary tract infections and supporting antibiotic therapy: In 90% of cases, the main cause of bladder infections is E. coli bacteria, which are transferred from the intestine to the bladder.

Utipro® akut & protect contains the polymer xyloglucan, which is derived from the seeds of the tamarind tree and forms a protective gel film on the intestinal mucosa. Cystitis: Act correctly from the start

A bladder infection, also called cystitis, is an inflammation of the bladder, often caused by a bacterial infection. Such a bladder infection can cause very unpleasant symptoms. You feel unwell and have to urinate constantly. Urination can be painful and often burns.

Sometimes the urine looks cloudy. The lower abdomen often feels uncomfortable, and you have the feeling that something is wrong.

Overview of symptoms of a bladder infection:
Frequent urination, pain, or a burning sensation during urination are typical symptoms of a bladder infection. Fever, urge incontinence, and foul-smelling urine can be accompanying symptoms.

Combat the main cause of bladder infections

In approximately 80% of cases, bladder infections are caused by E. coli bacteria, which can enter the bladder from the intestines, for example.

Cold temperatures can also weaken the immune system and make it easier for bacteria to enter the bladder. Excessive intimate hygiene with harsh washes can weaken the bladder lining and promote inflammation.
