Hepazen is a hepatoprotective medicine containing plant extracts such as silymarin (Silybum marianum), soy/essential phospholipids, phosphatidylcholine, burdock (Glycine hispida), chicory (Cichorium intybus), artichoke (Cynara scolymus) and dandelion (Taraxacum officinale). These ingredients, traditionally used for their beneficial properties on the liver, contribute to the protection of liver cells and the maintenance of the health of the hepatobiliary system.
Forms of release
Hepazen is available on the market in boxes of 30 tablets from Aesculap. Each Hepazen tablet contains silymarin - 150 mg, soy/essential phospholipids phosphatidylcholine - 100 mg, burdock extract - 50 mg, chicory - 50 mg, artichoke 40 mg, dandelion 25 mg.
