Micovag is available in cream and ovule form. The product promotes the growth of lactobacilli in the vaginal environment, balances and normalises the vaginal pH and provides an unfavourable environment for the colonisation of pathogens.
Forms of release
Micovag is available in the following forms:
- Micovag Plus, 10 ovules, Farma Derma
- Micovag Plus cream, 30 g, Farma Derma
Micovag ovules contain glycerine, boric acid, dimethyl silicone, bisabolol, vitamin E acetate and lactic acid. Micovag cream contains boric acid, clotrimazole, lactic acid, chlorhexidine digluconate and glycyrrhetinic acid.
Indications for use
Micovag cream is a fast-acting, balancing, soothing, moisturising vaginal cream for the simultaneous treatment of intimate fungal infections (candidiasis). Thanks to its soothing effect, it quickly reduces the itching and burning sensation that usually accompany fungal infections in the intimate area. Adjuvant treatment with Micovag Plus ovules or cream is recommended for recurrent mycoses, vulvovaginal mycoses, highly resistant mycoses, candidiasis, mixed vaginosis (fungal and bacterial) due to the presence of antimycotic and antibacterial ingredients.
Dosage and administration
Micovag is applied in the evening, before bedtime, once a day for 3 consecutive days. If necessary, administration can be repeated for another 3 days.
Contraindications
Do not use if you are hypersensitive to the components of the product. Do not use during pregnancy or if you are trying to become pregnant. Do not use while breastfeeding.

Interactions with other products are not known, so it is recommended to consult a doctor before using Micovag Plus vaginal cream together with other medical devices or medicines for vaginal use.
Side effects
The product is generally safe. If any adverse reactions occur, consult your doctor.
Overdose
Follow the recommended doses to avoid the effects of overdose. Prolonged use of the products may cause sensitisation. If symptoms of burning with erythema and/or severe irritation occur, they may appear at the beginning of treatment but tend to disappear on their own with subsequent applications. If adverse reactions occur, inform your doctor or pharmacist.
Storage conditions
Store at room temperature, away from heat and moisture.
