Orostim-HV is effective in treating chronic gastritis. Gastritis is an inflammation of the stomach lining that can cause symptoms such as heartburn, abdominal pain and indigestion. This medicine works to reduce inflammation and protect the stomach lining, helping to relieve these symptoms.

Patients with gastroesophageal reflux experience stomach acid returning to the oesophagus, causing heartburn and discomfort. Orostim-HV can help reduce irritation of the oesophageal lining and alleviate reflux symptoms.

A gastric ulcer is a lesion of the stomach lining, and Orostim-HV can be used as an adjunct in the treatment of gastric ulcers. The medicine helps to protect the affected area and accelerate the healing process.

If a patient knows that they are allergic to any of the active or inactive ingredients in Orostim-HV, the use of this medicine is contraindicated. Allergies can range from minor skin rashes to severe allergic reactions, such as difficulty breathing or swelling of the face.

The use of Orostim-HV is not recommended during pregnancy. The safety of the medicine during pregnancy has not been adequately established, and its use may pose risks to foetal development or the health of the mother.

Orostim-HV is contraindicated during breastfeeding. The active ingredients of the medicine may pass into breast milk and reach the infant, which could have adverse effects on their health.

Patients suffering from severe liver or kidney disorders should avoid using Orostim-HV, as this medicine may affect the function of these organs and aggravate existing problems.

Each Orostim-HV tablet contains standardised extracts of medicinal plants such as Hydrastis canadensis, Vaccinium macrocarpon, and Curcuma longa. These active ingredients are carefully selected for their gastroprotective benefits.

It is recommended to take 1-2 tablets of Orostim-HV twice a day, before meals. It is important to follow your doctor's or pharmacist's instructions regarding the correct dosage.

Orostim-HV is not recommended during pregnancy and breastfeeding, as its safety during these periods has not been established.

Avoid excessive alcohol consumption during treatment with Orostim-HV, as this may increase the risk of gastric irritation.

Orostim-HV is generally well tolerated. However, there are situations in which side effects may occur.

Some people may experience nausea or stomach discomfort after taking Orostim-HV. These symptoms may occur especially at the beginning of treatment and usually subside as the body adjusts to the medicine.

Although very rare, there is a possibility of developing severe adverse reactions or unexpected side effects. These may include, but are not limited to, difficulty breathing, swelling of the face or tongue, severe abdominal pain or gastrointestinal bleeding. These symptoms require emergency medical attention and immediate discontinuation of treatment.
