PlantEXIR syrup is recommended for a variety of upper respiratory tract conditions. The main indications for use of the syrup include:

• Productive cough: PlantEXIR syrup is beneficial in cases of cough with excessive mucus secretion. The ivy extract contained in the syrup has mucolytic properties, which means that it helps to thin and remove mucus from the airways, thus facilitating expectoration.
• Acute and chronic bronchitis: PlantEXIR syrup can be useful in the treatment of acute and chronic bronchitis. Its expectorant and anti-inflammatory properties help reduce inflammation and excessive mucus secretion in the bronchi, relieving symptoms such as persistent cough and suffocation.
• Rhinitis and sinusitis: Due to its ability to thin mucus and reduce inflammation, PlantEXIR syrup can be effective in relieving symptoms associated with rhinitis and sinusitis. Its use can reduce nasal congestion, excessive nasal secretion and sinus discomfort.

PlantEXIR syrup contains standardised Hedera helix extract obtained using the most advanced technologies. Each millilitre of syrup contains 9 mg of dry extract from ivy leaves.

The method of administration of PlantEXIR syrup varies depending on the age of the patient:

Children aged 1 to 3 years: 1 ml of syrup 3 times a day

Children aged 4 to 12 years: 1.5 ml of syrup 3 times a day

Adults and children over 12 years of age: 2 ml of syrup 3 times a day

The use of PlantEXIR syrup in the recommended doses is not usually accompanied by side effects. However, in some cases, the following side effects may occur: nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, agitation. Hypersensitivity reactions may also occur.
