The 3M Adaptic Non-Adherent Wound Dressing is a primary dressing made of a cellulose acetate mesh impregnated with a special petrolatum emulsion. This allows for easy removal of the dressing while minimizing potential pain during dressing changes. The unique cellulose acetate mesh of the Adaptic dressing protects newly forming tissue by minimizing trauma during dressing changes. The pore size of the Adaptic dressing allows exudate to pass freely through to the secondary dressing.
