DracoFoam Heel is a non-adherent foam dressing for wounds on the heel or elbow. Its anatomical 3D shape makes DracoFoam Heel the ideal dressing for common wound conditions such as pressure ulcers on the heel, diabetic foot ulcers, and problem wounds on other highly curved areas of the body. The foam dressing is highly absorbent and does not stick to the wound. It can be easily secured with dressing materials such as the elastic bandages DracoSumbi or DracoElfi and remains easily removable during dressing changes.

Even with highly exuding wounds, DracoFoam Heel remains germ-proof, breathable, and provides reliable protection for clothing. The printed exudate grid simplifies exudate management and wound documentation. DracoFoam Heel can remain on the wound during EEG, ECG, X-ray, ultrasound, and MRI examinations, thus avoiding additional dressing changes. The wound dressing can also be used during compression therapy.

Areas of application:
Pressure ulcers, leg ulcers, diabetic foot syndrome, secondary wound healing disorders, abrasions, iatrogenic wounds, lacerations, scratches, bite wounds, lacerations, split-thickness skin grafts, second-degree burns.
