How to use a medical device

1. Gently wipe the edges of the adhesive with a tissue to make it easier to remove.
2. Gradually remove your stoma appliance, continuing to wipe your skin with a tissue as needed.
3. After removing the hardware, if necessary, use a new tissue to thoroughly clean the skin of any remaining adhesive.
4. Before putting on new ostomy equipment, make sure your skin is clean and dry.
