The Gluco-test Duo Pro blood glucose monitoring system consists of the blood glucose meter, blood glucose test strips, and control solution. The system is designed for external use (in-vitro diagnosis) for the quantitative measurement of blood glucose in fresh capillary whole blood. It is suitable for self-testing as well as point-of-care testing by healthcare professionals. Glucose measurement is indicated for the monitoring of diabetes mellitus.

The lancing device and sterile lancets are intended for taking capillary blood from the side of the fingertip or alternative sites such as the palm, upper arm, and forearm for testing purposes. The sterile lancets are for single use only and should be disposed of after use. The sterile lancets and lancing device may only be used on one person at a time in a domestic setting.

Control solution

The blood glucose control solution is used to check whether the meter and blood glucose test strips are functioning properly.
