Vitamin B2 R-5′-P + Riboflavin is a capsule formulation containing vitamin B2 in two forms: riboflavin 5′-phosphate (R-5′-P) and riboflavin. Riboflavin is a compound with a characteristic yellow-orange color, discovered during work on cow's milk analysis, and known until the 1920s as lactochrome.

Vitamin B2 riboflavin :

• helps in the proper functioning of the nervous system,

• helps protect cells against oxidative stress,
• contributes to maintaining proper energy metabolism,
• helps maintain the proper condition of mucous membranes and helps maintain healthy skin,

In the case of B2, the vitamin is absorbed both as the free form of riboflavin and as flavin mononucleotide, or R-5′-P . Absorption is better when the vitamin is taken after a meal, because food slows peristalsis and prolongs its residence time in the small intestine, which supports efficient uptake.

Ingredients : riboflavin, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose – Vcaps® Plus vegetable capsule, acacia fiber, L-leucine, riboflavin 5′-phosphate sodium.

Gluten-free product.

Portion recommended for consumption during the day : 1 capsule.

Preferred intake : vitamin B2 should be consumed after a meal, no later than 4 p.m.

Organoleptic properties: after pouring out of the capsule, a yellow-orange powder with a bitter aftertaste.

After ingestion, the urine changes color to intense yellow-orange.

Storage : the dietary supplement B2 R-5′-P + Riboflavin (Vitamin B2 riboflavin sodium 5′-phosphate + riboflavin) should be stored in a place protected from sunlight, at a temperature below 25°C, in the original packaging, out of reach of small children.
