Lubristil ophthalmic gel is an artificial tear gel in 0.4 ml single-dose vials. Formulated without preservatives, it is widely tolerated. It provides relief from dry eye symptoms of various origins. Lubristil contains sodium hyaluronate and xanthan gum, two natural polymers. When the gel comes into contact with tears, it forms a transparent, lubricating and viscous layer that relieves dryness. Lubristil gel helps relieve ocular discomfort associated with contact lens wear. It provides instant relief as well as a long-lasting feeling of well-being. Lubristil is also useful in the treatment of wounds and abrasions of the ocular surface.

Lubristil eye gel is indicated for people with dry, irritated or uncomfortable eyes. It is also suitable for those who face prolonged exposure to computer screens, smartphones or spend long hours on the road, as well as for those with wounds or abrasions on the surface of the eye. Finally, it is recommended for anyone who wants to improve the hydration and lubrication of the eyes in adverse weather conditions such as wind, dust, pollen and other pollutants.

1. Wash or disinfect your hands before using the gel.
2. Check that the single-dose container is not damaged.
3. Separate a single-dose container from the tape.
4. Hold the single-dose container by the bottom and shake it downward.
5. Turn the top to open.
6. Instill one drop of Lubristil ophthalmic gel into the lower edge of the eye, inside the conjunctival sac.
7. Avoid contact of the tip of the container with the eyes or any other surface.
8. Blink to distribute the gel across the surface of the eye.
9. Unless your ophthalmologist recommends otherwise, it can be applied a maximum of 4 times a day.
10. Each single-dose container should be used immediately after opening.

Do not use Lubristil ophthalmic gel if you are hypersensitive or allergic to any of the components of the product. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Do not use the product after the expiration date. Do not use if the container is opened or damaged. Use of the product may occasionally cause a slight transient burning sensation. There are no known interactions with other ophthalmic drugs. It is recommended not to administer other medications or eye care products for 60 minutes after using Lubristil.
