Extra Superabsorbent

A versatile solution that contributes to the successful management of highly exuding wounds. Mextra Superabsorbent rapidly absorbs fluids. This high absorption and retention capacity reduces the risk of maceration. Mextra can be used for moderately to highly exuding wounds, such as chronic wounds like leg ulcers, venous leg ulcers under pressure dressings, and chronic wounds like pressure sores. Mextra can be used in conjunction with primary dressings such as Mepitel, Mepitel One, fiber dressings, or Melgisorb Plus. Mextra has a water-repellent and breathable top layer that protects against permeability. This top layer prevents fluid from seeping through to the outside and protects clothing and bedding from soiling.

Applications of Mextra Superabsorbent:
Mextra Superabsorbent is intended for use on moderately to heavily exuding wounds, such as venous leg ulcers or pressure ulcers.
