VAGINAL OVULES

Candidiasis is a vaginal infection caused by fungi of the genus Candida (of which Candida albicans is the most common). Under normal conditions, Candida exists in the vaginal ecosystem in balance with other species. Under certain conditions (decreased immune defenses, antibiotic and cortisone therapy, a diet lacking vitamins and/or rich in sugars and carbohydrates, stress, the use of oral contraceptives and the wearing of tight and/or synthetic underwear), these fungi multiply excessively, altering the balance between the species of the vaginal flora and leading to the development of candidiasis. To combat candidiasis, it is useful to restore the balance between the species by restoring the vaginal pH to optimal levels, thus creating an environment hostile to the proliferation of fungi.
Indicated as an adjuvant treatment for vaginal mycosis. It rebalances and normalizes the vaginal pH, helping to counteract the colonization of pathogens. In addition, thanks to its soothing action, it reduces itching and annoying burning sensations.

ingredients
Semisynthetic glycerides, boric acid, silica dimethyl silylate, bisabolol, vitamin E acetate, lactic acid.

How to use
Remove the ovule by pulling the two flaps of the pre-cut blister and insert it deep into the vagina. Wash your hands before and after using the medical device.
Use one ovule per day, preferably in the evening before bedtime or as prescribed by your doctor.

warnings
Do not use in case of individual hypersensitivity to one of the product components, during pregnancy and breastfeeding (in these circumstances it is advisable to consult a doctor).
No special precautions are required when using tools, machines or vehicles.
There are no known interactions with other products, therefore it is advisable to consult a doctor before using the product in combination with other medical devices or medications for vaginal use.
Use, especially prolonged use, of all topical products may cause sensitization. If this occurs, discontinue use and consult a doctor to initiate appropriate treatment. If you experience any other side effects, inform your doctor or pharmacist.
Keep out of reach of children. Avoid contact with eyes. Do not swallow.
The expiry date refers to the product in its intact packaging, stored correctly. Do not use after the expiry date or if the packaging is opened or damaged. Medical devices should not be disposed of via wastewater or household waste; ask your pharmacist how to dispose of unused medical devices. This will help protect the environment.

Conservation
Store the medical device away from light and heat, preferably at a temperature between 4°C and 25°C.
