A medical device in the form of a stoma wafer, made of materials with a memory effect, allowing it to adapt to the shape of the stoma, even as it changes throughout the day. The wafer was designed specifically for concave or flat stomas. The ConvaTec Plastic Technology used in the wafer allows for easy adjustment without the use of scissors.

Product characteristics

Natura Durahesive Convex is a malleable wafer used in two-piece stoma systems. Its convex shape gently presses against the skin around the stoma, lifting it above the surface. This allows for a precise seal around the base. The outer part of the wafer is made of soft, flexible non-woven fabric, while the inner part is made of Durahesive material, which absorbs moisture and causes the wafer to swell, completely enveloping the stoma, sealing it and ensuring safe use. ConvaTec's malleable technology allows for use without the need for scissors – simply shape the opening with your fingers.
