A medical device in the form of preservative-free eye drops. This sterile eye solution with a physiological pH is available in multi-dose 10 ml bottles with a closure system that eliminates the need for preservatives. The product's main function is to coat and moisturize the eye surface, maintaining its moisture thanks to sodium hyaluronate.
The product is compatible with contact lenses.

Composition

Sodium hyaluronate 0.4%, aqueous extract of ginkgo biloba ( Ginkgo biloba ), aqueous extract of bilberry ( Vaccinium myrtillus ), aqueous extract of fennel ( Foeniculum vulgare ), aqueous extract of centella asiatica ( Centella asiatica ), boric acid, sodium tetraborate decahydrate, sodium chloride, water for injections.

Action

The sodium hyaluronate contained in the solution guarantees the product's viscoelastic and mucomimetic properties, ensuring proper hydration of the ocular surface, protecting it from friction caused by eye movements. This translates to a soothing effect on irritated and dry eyes. Furthermore, the polymer is able to retain water and interact with the ocular epithelium. This solution maintains ocular surface moisture, has a refreshing effect on dry and irritated eyes, and increases tear film stability, which protects the ocular surface from environmental factors. The formula also contains aqueous extracts of ginkgo biloba, centella asiatica, bilberry, and fennel, which maintain eye moisture, as well as sodium chloride and two buffering agents (boric acid and sodium tetraborate decahydrate), ensuring the solution's physiological composition.

Recommended for dry and irritated eyes. Oviso Complete preservative-free eye drops are suitable for contact lens wearers.

Indications

Regenerating and protective eye drops with a refreshing, soothing and moisturizing effect, for dry eyes and irritation of the eye or ocular mucosa caused by:

• environmental factors (air conditioning, excessive exposure to sunlight, wind, smoke, pollution),
• dry eyes due to excessive fatigue caused by studying or long-term work at the computer or related to dry eye syndrome,
• ophthalmic stress after eye surgery,
• wearing contact lenses for many hours a day.

Product use

1 or 2 drops in each eye; do not use more than 10 doses per day (1 dose is 1-2 drops in each eye).

How to use a medical device

1. Wash and dry your hands thoroughly before use.
2. Before the first application, break the protection.
3. Remove the protective cap and open the bottle.
4. Squeeze the container and instill 1 or 2 drops into each eye; do not use more than 10 doses per day (1 dose is 1-2 drops in each eye).
5. Wait a few seconds after each drop, and do not squeeze the bottle during this time. This allows enough air to enter; otherwise, it will be more difficult to squeeze the drop out. As the bottle gradually empties, you may need to apply increasing pressure to dispense the product. This is due to the nature of the closure system, which maintains the sterility and chemical and physical properties of the solutions. A small amount of solution will always remain in the bottle.
6. After applying the drops to your eyes, shake off any remaining drops from the tip of the dispenser.
7. Close the bottle with the cap immediately after use.
8. Do not put the cap on while the bottle is squeezed.

Contraindications and precautions

Before use, please read the instructions for use or the label.
Do not touch anything with the dispenser tip, including your eyes or fingers.
Store below 30°C. Contents should be used within 6 months of first opening.
The product is intended for ophthalmic use only.
The product is intended for use by a single patient.
Do not use the product if the bottle is damaged or not fully closed upon first opening.
Do not use the product if particles are visible in the solution or if its color has changed.
During application, do not touch your eyes or any other surface with the edge of the dispenser.

If side effects occur while using the product, discontinue use and contact your doctor.
Do not use the product in case of hypersensitivity to any of the solution ingredients and/or to plants of the Ericaceae and/or Apiaceae and/or Anacardiaceae families and/or poison ivy and/or celery.
This product contains the following CMR substances in concentrations above 0.1% w/w: boric acid and sodium tetraborate decahydrate. This product is not suitable for children, pregnant or breastfeeding women.
There is no information about interactions with medications or other eye drops; however, other eye drops should only be used after a minimum of 15 minutes.
Dispose of the product in accordance with local waste management regulations.
Keep out of the reach and sight of children.
For external use, do not swallow.
Do not tamper with the dispenser or remove it from the bottle.
Any serious incident involving the device must be reported to the manufacturer and the competent authority of the Member State in which the user is resident.
