Proyal 40 M

A medical device in the form of a hyaluronic gel, intended for intra-articular injection. Thanks to its viscoelastic properties, it normalizes the viscosity of synovial fluid, which directly translates into improved joint functionality and reduced pain-related discomfort.

Composition

Sodium hyaluronate 20 mg/ml, sodium chloride, sodium dihydrogen phosphate dihydrate, disodium phosphate dodecahydrate, WFI water.

Action

The product's action is based on the properties of hyaluronic acid, a substance responsible for viscosity and elasticity. Its lubricating and shock-absorbing properties significantly improve joint functionality.

Indications

The Proyal 40 M medical device is indicated in the case of:

• degeneration of joint cartilage,
• degenerative joint diseases,
• post-traumatic changes in synovial joints, such as: knee joint degeneration, knee injury (so-called runner's knee).

Product use

The dosage is determined by the attending physician.
Most often, the preparation is administered at weekly intervals, depending on the doctor's findings – from 1 to 4 injections.

Contraindications and precautions

Before use, please read the leaflet regarding how to use the product.
Do not use if you are allergic to any of the product's ingredients. If you experience any disturbing symptoms or adverse reactions, discontinue use and consult your doctor.
Do not use if the packaging has been previously opened or damaged.
Store at room temperature. Protect from light and moisture.
One pre-filled syringe is intended for one patient during one procedure.
Keep out of reach of children.
Do not reuse.

Notes and precautions

All precautions must be followed during the procedure.
The product is intended for intra-articular injection only.
When disinfecting the skin before a planned injection, do not use agents that contain quaternary amine salts, as this may cause precipitation of sodium hyaluronate.
Due to the lack of sufficient data, the product should not be used by children and pregnant or breastfeeding women.
