Purilon Gel 3900 10X15 g
Description
Purilon Gel
Purilon is a gentle hydrogel made from natural ingredients without any additives. It is used for wounds that require effective and gentle debridement of necrotic tissue to promote faster wound healing.
Hydrating and absorbent at the same time:
The hydration properties and absorption capacity support natural autolytic debridement and thus promote moist wound healing.
Easy to apply:
The applicator ensures controlled, easy, and aseptic application with just one hand. The gel rinses off easily.
Minimizes the risk of maceration and leakage:
The gel is dimensionally stable and remains cohesive even after absorption of tissue debris and wound exudate, thereby reducing the risk of leakage and maceration.
Mode of action:
Purilon Gel softens necrotic tissue and absorbs excess wound exudate, scabs, and tissue debris from the wound.
Composition:
Purilon Gel consists of purified water, sodium carboxymethylcellulose, and calcium alginate. Purilon is a very gentle product because the gel is made from natural ingredients without any additives.
Application:
Purilon Gel is indicated for necrotic and scabby wounds, as well as wounds with a mixture of necrotic and granulation tissue, such as leg ulcers, pressure ulcers, and non-infected diabetic foot ulcers. It can also be used for first- and second-degree burns. The gel can be applied throughout the healing process to create a moist environment for wound healing. Purilon Gel should be used in conjunction with a secondary dressing.
