Dry eyes are usually a chronic condition that should be treated early to prevent damage to the ocular surface. The medical term for this is "keratoconjunctivitis sicca." The most frequent cause of dry eyes is a disruption in the quality of the tear film: In this case, the composition of the tear film is impaired, and it therefore does not adhere to the cornea long enough. This is often due to inflammation of the ocular surface or lacrimal gland.* As a result, symptoms such as itching, burning, a foreign body sensation, redness, and pain occur. Instructions for use:
Wash hands thoroughly before use. Twist off the cap of the single-dose container and hold the dropper tip over the eye to be treated. Using the index finger of your free hand, pull down the lower eyelid. Gently squeeze to release one drop of REMOGEN OMEGA into the eye. The solution will spread evenly with each blink, forming a clear and long-lasting layer of liquid on the surface of the eye.

Store the eye drops in a cool, dark place. The storage temperature should be between 2 and 8 °C.

Warnings: Do not touch the dropper opening of the opened ampoule and avoid direct contact with the eye. Any solution not used immediately after opening must be discarded. Otherwise, sterility is no longer guaranteed and this may lead to a risk of infection. Do not use REMOGEN OMEGA if the aluminum packaging or the unit-dose containers are damaged. Do not use REMOGEN OMEGA after the expiry date printed on the unit-dose container and the carton. Shelf life refers to the product stored in a refrigerator (2°C – 8°C).
If the product is stored outside of the refrigerator at a temperature below 25°C and in its original packaging, its shelf life is 3 months.
