A specific ointment for the control of irritation of the anogenital area in pediatric age. Particularly indicated for the symptomatic treatment of itching, redness and burning sensations during anogenital inflammation in pediatric and prepubertal age, whether caused by irritation (e.g. rash), allergies (e.g. atopic dermatitis) or infections (e.g. Staphylococcal vulvovaginitis). It is an adjunct in the symptomatic treatment of vulvar repercussions of systemic diseases (e.g. chickenpox). The treatment is compatible with any necessary pharmacological interventions.
It contains Adelmidrol, a substance belonging to the Aliamide class, capable of inhibiting mast cell degranulation and, consequently, exerting a rebalancing action on tissue hyperactivity.
2-Dodecenedioic acid (transtraumatic acid) facilitates the convergence of local epithelial cells, promoting the restoration of the mucocutaneous barrier, which is compromised in hyperreactive conditions. The product uses an innovative mucoadhesive technology, so that the substances in the formula are dynamically delivered and retained at the site of application, due to the binding between hyaluronic acid and CD44 receptors expressed by inflamed epithelial cells.

How to use
Apply the ointment evenly to the anogenital area twice daily or more frequently until symptoms resolve, or as directed by your doctor. For diaper rash, apply a thin layer of product to the entire affected area at each diaper change, after thorough washing. The product is formulated to provide an effective protective barrier for mucous membranes.

The product is not indicated for subjects already sensitized to the components present in the formulations.
