Thanks to its innovative technology, Scalibor is an anti-parasitic collar that protects the dog for 12 months against sand flies and for 6 months against mosquitoes and ticks. The collar is between 94% and 98% effective against sand flies, making it the only collar capable of protecting your dog for 12 months.

Leishmaniasis is a serious chronic parasitic disease widespread in southern France. It is transmitted by the bite of the midge, an insect that is often confused with mosquitoes.

How does the Scalibor collar work?
The active ingredient of Scalibor is deltamethrin, which is released slowly and gradually by rubbing the collar against the fur and skin of the dog's neck throughout the period of activity. Furthermore, the active ingredient spreads evenly in the sebum and around the fur throughout the dog's body.

For effective protection, the collar should be applied one week before the dog is introduced into an infested area, given the time needed for the active substance to spread through the animal.

There is no release by evaporation, there is no loss of active ingredient and therefore there is no odor.

Precautions for use:
Do not use on dogs under 7 weeks of age, pregnant bitches or cats.
