Effects and benefits:
The antioxidant enzyme superoxide dismutase (SOD) was discovered by Dr. McCord and Professor Irwing Fridovich in 1969. Superoxide dismutase, glutathione peroxidase and catalase are endogenous antioxidant enzymes (produced by the human body) that protect DNA and cell membranes. against the action of free radicals (O2-, HO and H2O2). Superoxide dismutase catalyzes the reduction of the superoxide anion (O2-), one of the most reactive oxygen species, to the less reactive hydrogen peroxide (H2O2). Hydrogen peroxide is converted by catalase and glutathione peroxidase to water (H2O) which can be easily eliminated.

Administration method:
