Transparent protective film for fixing and covering bandages

3M Tegaderm Roll is a transparent, non-sterile, and elastic polyurethane film that provides reliable yet gentle skin protection. Coated with a latex-free, hypoallergenic polyacrylate adhesive, the film is also suitable for sensitive skin. Its transparency allows the underlying area to remain visible without compromising protection.

Areas of application and properties

Tegaderm Roll can be used as a secondary dressing in combination with sterile dressings to securely fix them to the skin. As a primary dressing, it serves to protect vulnerable but still intact skin. Furthermore, the film is suitable for fixing medical devices such as IV lines or drainage tubes to the skin. It can also be used as a waterproof cover for medical devices or primary dressings to protect them from external fluids or water.

Instructions for use

Cut or tear off a suitable piece of Tegaderm Roll from the roll. Apply the film to clean, dry skin, over the primary dressing, or over the medical device to be secured. Ensure it is smooth and wrinkle-free, and press the film firmly at the edges to guarantee adhesion. Adjust the size so that the area to be protected is completely covered.
