Terre de Couleur plant-based hair dyes are natural dyes, respectful of nature, and do not disrupt the natural rhythm of the scalp or damage it.
Plant-based hair dyes are progressive dyes: the result is progressive depending on the application time and over the course of applications.
The tenacity of the shade is achieved gradually, thus avoiding the root effect, typical of chemical coloring.

Unlike chemical coloring where the pigment penetrates the hair shaft, scalp and blood, Terre de Couleur plant-based coloring does not alter the nature of the hair.
It deposits a protective sheath around the hair shaft, thus allowing for living, healthy hair with silkiness and volume.
The first application fades gradually, without any demarcation or contrasting root effect.

With each application, the hair becomes healthier, its structure is strengthened, and the color becomes more and more durable and perfectly long-lasting.
Terre de Couleur plant-based hair colour can be used on weakened, damaged hair and is also safe for pregnant women or those who have undergone heavy medical treatments.

Natural hair coloring plays on highlights and light, giving hair an incomparable shine.
Depending on the percentage of white hair, you get a natural balayage effect that blends subtly with your base color.
So to reduce and darken the highlights on white hair, you can use in addition the color correcting treatment for highlights (which is used on light tones) or the darkening treatment for bright tones.

Please note, this hair color will not lighten your hair. It is recommended to choose a shade close to your natural hair color.

Based on scientific research, the Terre de Couleur laboratory recommends a 6 to 9 week course of Terre de Couleur clay treatments to deeply detoxify the hair.

Application method:

1. Prepare the color by mixing it with 200 ml of lukewarm (50°) and demineralized water.


2. Apply the paste section by section, coating the hair well with a sufficient amount of the mixture, without spreading it too much. Then cover with a shower cap for the indicated time*.

3. Rinse with clean water then apply the Nourishing Colour Fixing Treatment and dry the hair.
The results will be more beautiful and longer lasting on hair that has been previously cleansed of all chemicals with the appropriate Terre de Couleur Clay Treatments.

*As with any natural hair color, results may vary depending on the processing time, the natural base color, and the percentage of gray hair.
