Areas of application:
From the cleansing phase for exuding chronic wounds (lower leg ulcers, pressure ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers) and potentially fibrinous wounds such as acute wounds (burns, abrasions, traumatic wounds), postoperative wounds and tumor-related wounds.

Application:
UrgoClean compress:

• The UrgoClean compress can be cut with sterile scissors to adapt the size of the wound dressing to the wound.
• The UrgoClean dressing is covered and secured with a secondary dressing adapted to the location and exudate level of the wound (e.g., Urgomull adhesive latex-free or Urgoderm Stretch). If necessary, the UrgoClean dressing can also be combined with UrgoSuperabsorber or UrgoSuperSuperabsorber.
• The simultaneous use of a cream, ointment or emulsion is not recommended.
• Wearing time: 1 to 2 days

UrgoClean Tamponade:

• The UrgoClean tamponade can be cut to size if necessary, to adjust the length of the tamponade to the depth of the wound.
• For wounds with only slight exudate, the UrgoClean tamponade should be moistened with sterile physiological saline solution before use.
• The UrgoClean tamponade is covered and fixed with a secondary dressing adapted to the location and exudation level of the wound (e.g. UrgoTül Foam Border).
• Wearing time: 1 to 2 days

Contraindications:
Do not use if you are known to be hypersensitive to UrgoClean compress or tamponade, or to any of its ingredients. Do not use UrgoClean compress or tamponade as a surgical dressing (non-absorbable) or on heavily bleeding wounds. Do not use UrgoClean tamponade on fistula-like wounds with a diameter smaller than that of the sterile application device. Do not use UrgoClean tamponade on dry wounds. Do not use UrgoClean tamponade as an endonasal tamponade during sinus surgery.
