Femovita

Femovita is a dietary supplement containing phytoestrogens, natural hormones that are biochemically similar to the oestrogen hormones normally secreted by the body. 

Femovita Forte Day contains three groups of phytoestrogenic active substances (stilbenoids, lignans and coumestans), while Femovita Forte Night contains two groups of phytoestrogenic substances and a combination of flavonoid substances. These substances are extracted from plants, vegetables and fruits with a high content of natural phytoestrogens: walnuts, almonds, cranberries, grapes, carrots, lentils, etc.

Femovita Beauty contains 22 active ingredients, including: hydrolysed collagen, hyaluronic acid, vitamins D, A, C and E, selenium, zinc, oleic acid, biotin, as well as the entire B vitamin family.

The phytoestrogens in Femovita have weaker physiological effects than the oestrogens secreted by the human body because differences in chemical structure mean that these substances do not bind to the body's oestrogen receptors as well as the hormone itself. Thus, phytoestrogens alleviate the symptoms caused by the physiological decrease in oestrogens without having negative effects on the body.

Femovita Forte is recommended for women over 40 who are going through menopause (absence of menstruation) or perimenopause (the onset of menopause, when oestrogen levels decrease and the body prepares for the absence of menstruation).

Femovita Forte should not be taken during pregnancy or breastfeeding as it may have adverse side effects due to the phytoestrogens in its composition.

Femovita is contraindicated for people who are allergic to any of the active ingredients or components of this medicine. Femovita is a dietary supplement contraindicated for:

• Pregnant or breastfeeding women
• Women who are lactose intolerant
• Women diagnosed with malignant tumours of the uterus or ovaries, malignant tumours of the breasts
• Women with severe endocrine disorders

Alcohol consumption does not affect treatment with Femovita Forte or Beauty.

Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects as an inappropriate response to the action of phytoestrogens in its composition. Although side effects do not occur in all people, it is recommended to discontinue treatment with Femovita if the following signs and symptoms occur: abdominal pain, severe headache, nausea, vomiting, reddish skin rashes or itching.
