Sterile gauze compresses for safe wound care

They are suitable for the initial treatment of acute wounds in emergencies as well as for sterile post-operative care. Their convenient size makes them particularly well-suited for use on medium to large everyday wounds.

These sterile gauze compresses are intended for treating fresh, acute wounds, such as minor everyday injuries or emergency situations. They are also suitable for sterile care following surgical procedures. They can be used to clean the wound and then to cover it, protecting it from external influences.

Instructions for use

Before use, hands should be thoroughly cleaned to ensure the cleanest possible wound care. Carefully remove the sterile gauze pad from the packaging and apply it directly to the wound. Depending on the need, the pad can be used to clean the wound or secured as an absorbent dressing. It should always be used as intended for absorbing blood or wound fluid and covering the wound.

Warning notices

Use gauze compresses only on intact, undamaged sterile packaging. Reopened or damaged packaging should no longer be used for sterile wound care.
