One 10 g portion of BCAA Xtra Instant Activlab contains 5 g of BCAA amino acids in optimal proportions of 2:1:1 and 3.5 g of L-Glutamine. BCAA amino acids constitute approximately 35% of the exogenous amino acids that build muscle protein and nearly 50% of the amino acids that must be supplied with food.

Leucine, isoleucine and valine perform a number of different functions in the body. They enable protein synthesis, regulate the action of insulin, prevent catabolism, rebuild muscle tissue that was destroyed during intense training, and also provide energy for muscles in the absence of an appropriate amount of fatty acids.

Glutamine is mostly synthesized in skeletal muscles and constitutes over 60% of all amino acids that make up human muscles.
