Product purpose

BD Venflon is used by medical personnel in the infusion procedure, administration of medications and intravenous fluids, as well as blood transfusions.

Product characteristics

The BD Venflon features an integrated port with a valve, eliminating the need for repeated punctures, reducing the risk of infection and contamination. Its back-cut blade and tapered cannula tip facilitate initial puncture with minimal vein damage. Flexible wings allow for secure attachment of the cannula to the skin and reduce the risk of dislodgement. The cannula is made of PTFE (latex- and PVC-free) – a biocompatible, kink-resistant, highly visible material that reduces the risk of phlebitis. The product is packaged in individual, sterile packaging (single-use).
