Biatain self-adhesive is a soft and adaptable polyurethane foam dressing that effectively absorbs and securely retains wound exudate. This creates an optimal wound environment for the healing of exuding wounds.

Unique 3D foam structure for excellent absorption:
Upon contact with exudate, Biatain's unique 3D foam structure molds itself tightly to the wound bed, creating the conditions for excellent absorption - even under compression.

Soft and flexible bandage:
Biatain self-adhesive is a soft and flexible dressing with a high level of wearing comfort.

Excellent exudate management:
The excellent absorption and high retention capacity of wound exudate minimize the risk of maceration and leakage. This self-adhesive dressing is well-suited for wounds where the surrounding skin is healthy, as well as in areas where stronger adhesion is required.

Long wearing time:
Due to Biatain's excellent absorption and secure adhesion, the dressing is characterized by a long wearing time. Clinical studies have shown that Biatain is an economical solution with a wearing time of up to 7 days.

The wound exudate is channeled vertically away from the wound by the unique 3D polymer foam structure and safely stored, while maintaining a moist wound environment, thus providing good conditions for moist wound healing.

Use:
Biatain self-adhesive can be used for a wide range of exuding wounds, particularly leg ulcers, pressure ulcers, second-degree burns, split-thickness skin graft donor sites, postoperative wounds, and abrasions. Biatain® self-adhesive can also be used under compression therapy.
