Biatain Silicone Lite is a thin, highly flexible foam dressing with gentle silicone adhesive. It can be used on a wide range of exuding wounds and is ideal when a thin and flexible foam dressing is required. Biatain Silicone Lite is characterized by excellent absorption and very high flexibility.

Excellent absorption due to the unique 3D foam:
Upon contact with wound exudate, the 3D foam structure of Biatain Silicone Lite expands and conforms to the wound bed, creating the conditions for excellent absorption – even under compression. The unique 3D polymer foam structure channels the wound exudate vertically away from the wound and securely retains it, creating a moist wound environment and thus providing optimal conditions for moist wound healing. The absorbency of Biatain Silicone Lite ensures optimal exudate management, minimizing the risk of maceration and leakage.

Gentle and secure hold:
The silicone adhesive pad provides a secure hold and ensures a painless dressing change.

Intuitive application:
Biatain Silicone Lite features a 3-piece non-touch application (non-touch technology) for easy and aseptic application.

Greater mobility:
The soft and exceptionally flexible design of Biatain Silicone Lite ensures a good fit to the wound and body. The thin, skin-level foam cushion provides high wearing comfort and is suitable for patients who require greater mobility.

Biatain Silicone Lite is a thin, highly flexible and absorbent polyurethane foam dressing with a semi-permeable, water- and bacteria-proof top film and a soft silicone adhesive.

Application:
Biatain Silicone Lite can be used for a wide range of low- to moderately exuding chronic and acute wounds, such as leg ulcers, pressure ulcers, non-infectious diabetic foot syndrome, donor sites, postoperative wounds, and traumatic wounds (e.g., abrasions, lacerations, or cuts). It can be used in combination with compression therapy and can remain in place for up to 7 days.
