Each tablet contains:

Active substances: Praziquantel 20 mg, Pyrantel 80 mg (equivalent to 230 mg pyrantel embonate).

Product purpose

The product is intended for the treatment of mixed invasions of tapeworms (including Echinococcus multilocularis) and roundworms (roundworms, hookworms) in cats.

Product characteristics

Cestal Cat tablets contain two active ingredients: praziquantel and pyrantel. Praziquantel is effective against tapeworms, while pyrantel combats roundworms such as roundworms and hookworms. The oval tablet with a score line facilitates precise dosing. Thanks to their special flavor, the tablets are readily consumed by cats, as confirmed in studies (voluntary consumption in 83% of cases). The product can be administered directly or with food, without the need to starve the animal.

Product use

Administer orally, at a dose of 1 tablet per 4 kg of body weight.

• 1 kg - 2 kg body weight: ½ tablet
• >2 kg - 4 kg body weight: 1 tablet
• >4 kg - 6 kg body weight: 1½ tablets
• >6 kg - 8 kg body weight: 2 tablets

The tablet should be administered directly into the cat's mouth or in food (e.g. in a piece of meat).

Notes and precautions

Do not use on kittens under 6 weeks of age. Do not use during pregnancy. This product can be used during lactation. Do not use concurrently with products containing piperazine. For hygiene reasons, wash your hands after administering the tablet. The tablets are flavored, so keep them out of the reach of animals.
