Saffron is used in the food industry for flavoring dishes but also for obtaining natural dyes. Due to its therapeutic properties, it is also used in the pharmaceutical industry and in natural treatments. However, safflower is grown mainly for the production of seeds, from which a good quality edible oil is obtained by cold pressing. Safflower oil contains: palmitic acid, stearic acid, oleic and linoleic acid, vitamins E and K.
External: Helps to produce collagen, to prevent wrinkles. Ideal for dry, reddened skin (cuperosis). It has an antiseptic effect and contributes to hair regeneration.
