Description

Cosmopor Advance dressings are a medical device in the form of triple-layer postoperative dressings characterized by maximum absorbency and minimal risk of leakage. The product wicks exudate and moisture from the wound to the absorbent layer, preventing it from escaping or regurgitating into the remaining layers of the dressing.
The product allows air to circulate freely. This means it allows the skin to breathe.

Action

The DryBarrier® technology prevents the creation of a bacteria-friendly environment. Wound exudate and moisture are directed unidirectionally into the absorbent layer. The dressing has a very high absorption capacity, preventing exudate and moisture from escaping or regurgitating into the remaining layers of the dressing. It has three layers that ensure optimal wound healing. Thanks to the polyethylene mesh, the dressing does not adhere to the wound, and its removal is painless. Rounded corners prevent the dressing from curling, even when left on the wound for long periods. The thick absorbent layer provides good mechanical protection for the wound from external factors. The dressing does not restrict the natural functions of the skin (it is permeable to water vapor and air).

Indications

The Cosmopor Advance medical device is intended for the care of post-operative wounds and the sterile treatment of minor injuries, such as those used in first aid. It is particularly recommended for wounds characterized by high levels of exudate. Suitable for normal and sensitive skin.
