How to use a medical device

1. Wash your hands before using the spatula.
2. Remove one spatula from the package, maintaining aseptic technique.
3. Gently press on the patient's tongue to gain a better view of the mouth and throat.
4. Once the examination is complete, dispose of the spatula in an appropriate medical waste container.
