Intenson Seitan vegan meat substitute

Seitan is a 100% vegan product with a high protein content. Once prepared, it has a meat-like texture, so it can be used as a substitute in all popular meat dishes, such as hamburgers, steaks, goulash, cutlets, and more. It can be fried, baked, stewed, or grilled just like meat. Its flavor depends on the spices you add.

Preparation method:
You can prepare seitan in 3 simple steps:

Pour a cup of water into a bowl and add all the seitan powder from the bag. Stir (preferably with a fork) to prevent lumps from forming until the dough has absorbed all the water.
In a medium-sized pot, bring 1.5 liters of water to a boil and add a pinch of salt. Divide the dough into walnut-sized pieces, flattening each piece slightly with your hand.
Add to boiling water and cook, covered, over low heat for about 30 minutes.
After cooking, you can marinate the product in one of the marinades below.
