Areas of application

Cotton wool bandages are used as padding under plaster casts to prevent pressure sores and increase comfort. They also serve as a base under support and compression bandages. Furthermore, they can be used as padding under splints or tubular bandages to protect sensitive skin areas.

Instructions for use

The ROLTA soft synthetic cotton bandage is placed directly onto the area to be padded and wrapped evenly around the affected region. The desired plaster cast, support or compression bandage, splint, or tubular bandage is then applied over it. Ensure that the padding is smooth and not too tight.

Warnings and precautions

The cotton bandage should not be used if there is a known intolerance to the material. Special care should be taken in the case of existing skin conditions, and use should be carefully monitored.
