Prisoma's sterile absorbent dressings are specially designed for the care of highly exuding wounds. Thanks to their high absorbency, they reliably absorb wound exudate, contributing to a clean and orderly wound environment. They can be used in all medical settings and are also suitable for supplemental wound padding.

Features and benefits

The compresses are made of 100% cellulose, completely encased in a non-adherent non-woven fabric. This prevents the dressing from sticking to the wound. The blue top side identifies the reverse side of the compress and also acts as a hydrophobic barrier: it helps reduce leakage and protects linens and clothing from contamination. This ensures reliable protection for both the wound area and the surrounding environment.

Application and handling

The absorbent dressing is applied according to its intended purpose for the treatment of heavily exuding wounds. Ensure the dressing is positioned with the correct side facing the wound, i.e., the outer side, with the blue top side indicating the reverse. The dressing can also be used for padding, for example, to reduce pressure on the wound.
