Superabsorbent wound dressing with silicone

Vliwasorb sensitive is a superabsorbent dressing with a silicone layer for moderately to heavily exuding wounds. Its high absorption capacity and excellent retention, even under compression, protect the wound and surrounding tissue, reducing the risk of maceration. The multi-layered structure facilitates fluid management, creating an optimal moist wound environment and promoting faster wound closure. By binding exudate within the dressing, the bacterial count is reduced and removed during dressing changes. The soft, self-adhesive silicone wound contact layer ensures comfortable and easy application. Thanks to its stable shape retention – even when applied vertically – Vliwasorb sensitive offers enhanced patient comfort and peace of mind: the practical protective layer prevents clothing and bedding from becoming soaked.

Product composition:
Silicone, non-woven fabric, polyacrylate, cellulose.

Areas of application:
Moderately to heavily exuding wounds, including:

• Leg ulcer
• Pressure ulcers
• diabetic foot ulcers
• and dehiscence postoperative wounds
