Assista ProctoRapid

Procto Rapid is available as a cream for external use. It comes in a 25 g tube with a special applicator that makes it easy to apply directly to the affected rectal area. 

The cream release form allows rapid absorption of the active ingredients and provides immediate relief of symptoms.

There is also the form of Assista ProctoRapid wet wipes for anorectal hygiene or the form of ProctoRapid suppositories for intrarectal administration.

ProctoRapid is indicated for: 

• relieve symptoms of internal and external hemorrhoids
• the treatment of anal fiscositis, anal fistu ulcers, cryptitis, papillitis, aniitis and perianitis
• treatment or prevention of hemorrhoidal thrombosis
• after surgery to remove hemorrhoids 
• after episiotomy

This product can be used especially in acute episodes, but also as a preventive treatment for people prone to hemorrhoids.

ProctoRapid soothes the pain and discomfort associated with hemorrhoids, reduces inflammation and irritation in the rectal area, relieves burning and itching, and minor bleeding caused by hemorrhoids.

ProctoRapid should be applied 2-3 times a day or as needed, preferably in the morning and evening, after proper sanitization of the affected area.

ProctoRapid should not be used by people who have an allergy or hypersensitivity to any of its ingredients. 

Important! In the case of rectal bleeding, seek medical advice before using rectal cream in order to make a correct diagnosis. 

If side effects such as severe irritation or an allergic reaction occur, discontinue use and consult a doctor.

For external application, apply Assista ProctoRapid cream to the finger, 1 cm lengthwise, and gently massage the area.

For internal (intrarectal) application, place the rectal applicator on the file of the tube, press the tube until the cream comes out through the orific at the tip of the applicator, insert the applicator fully into the rectum and gently press the tube while gradually withdrawing the applicator from the rectum.

ProctoRapid is generally well tolerated, but side effects may occur in rare cases, such as:

• Local redness and irritation
• Itching or burning sensation
• Allergic reactions to one of the active ingredients

If these effects occur, stop using the product and consult a doctor.

There is no detailed information about significant interactions between ProctoRapid and other medicines or foods. 

However, to avoid possible interactions, it is recommended that you inform your doctor about any other treatments you are taking.

Overdosage with ProctoRapid is unlikely as the product is intended for external use. However, application of an excessive amount may lead to local irritation or discomfort. 

If a severe adverse reaction occurs, immediate medical advice should be sought.

ProctoRapid should be stored at room temperature away from moisture and direct sunlight. After opening the tube, it is recommended to use the product within the period indicated on the packaging. The product should not be left within the reach of children.
