Biolevox HA 2.2% is a sterile medical device intended for intra-articular injection to increase the viscosity of the synovial fluid. Contains 44 mg of sodium hyaluronate with high molecular weight, of non-animal origin, obtained by bacterial fermentation. It has lubricating and shock-absorbing properties and provides nutrients to the joint cartilage. Additional injection of synovial fluid increases its elasticity and viscosity:

• improving joint mobility,
• reducing the level of pain felt.

Biolevox HA reduces pain during daily activities and protects articular cartilage against further degeneration. It is intended for use in case of post-traumatic and degenerative changes (osteoporosis).

The therapy consists of three weekly intra-articular injections, and its effects last at least six months. Intra-articular injections of the medical device can only be performed by a doctor.

The colorless gel with a pH of 6.8-7.4 was enclosed in a pre-filled syringe. The package contains a sterile needle (21G) necessary for performing the injection.
