Leukomed®: Soft and skin-friendly non-woven dressing

High absorption capacity and exceptional skin compatibility are just two of the many features that make Leukomed® ideal for the professional care of postoperative wounds and injuries of all kinds. This sterile wound dressing offers reliable protection against pathogens and contaminants. The transversely elastic polyester nonwoven fabric is highly flexible and conforms well to the skin, making it suitable even for use on highly contoured areas. The absorbent wound pad can handle small to moderate volumes of exudate. It consists of a soft viscose nonwoven fabric with a polypropylene coating. This prevents the dressing from sticking to the wound and allows for virtually painless dressing changes that do not impair wound healing. Thanks to the air- and water vapor-permeable materials, the risk of maceration is reduced. The rounded corners prevent the dressing from rolling up and ensure secure fixation. Despite its excellent immediate and long-term adhesion, Leukomed® can be removed without leaving any adhesive residue on the skin.
