Hylo is an ophthalmic drop product indicated for lubricating and supporting the healing of damaged eye surfaces, for example due to dry eyes or surgical procedures. It is a sterile solution, free from phosphates and preservatives.
Forms of release
These drops from Ursapharm are available in several forms:
- Hylo gel lubricating eye drops, 10 ml
- Hylo Dual drops, 10 ml
- Hylo Comod lubricating drops, 10 ml
- Hylo Care drops, 10 ml
- Hylo Parin drops, 10 ml
Contains sodium hyaluronate as the main ingredient.
Indications
These types of eye drops are indicated for lubricating the surface of the eye in cases of dryness or dry eyes. They can also be used after ophthalmic surgery. Hylo Dual also relieves inflammatory symptoms in cases of irritated eyes, reducing itching and burning sensations.
Dosage and administration
In general, it is recommended to instill one drop of Hylo three times a day in each eye. It can be used more frequently if necessary. Hylo is a product indicated for long-term treatment. However, doses may vary depending on the individual product and the specific instructions of your doctor.
Contraindications
Hylo should not be used by people who are hypersensitive to any of the ingredients.
Interactions with other medicines and food
If you are using other eye drops, Hylo should always be administered last and you should wait 30 minutes between applications. It is recommended to apply ophthalmic ointments after using Hylo.
Side effects
In very rare cases, hypersensitivity reactions such as burning sensations or excessive tearing may occur, which usually disappear immediately after discontinuing use of the product.
Overdose
Follow the recommended doses and do not use more than recommended.
Storage
Store the drops away from heat and moisture. In general, they should be used within 60 days of first opening the bottle. Read the instructions on the packaging carefully.

Does Hylo affect the ability to drive?
These drops do not affect the ability to drive.
Can I use Hylo with contact lenses?
Hylo is compatible with contact lenses, but it should be noted that after applying contact lenses, a 30-minute interval should be allowed before administering the drops to avoid intolerance reactions that may occur due to the interaction between contact lens care solutions and Hylo.
Is Hylo Gel similar to Hylo Comod?
Hylo gel moisturising eye drops have a high sodium hyaluronate content and are recommended for treating dry eye syndrome and after surgery. Another type of artificial tears, Hylo Comod, also contain sodium hyaluronate and are recommended for foreign body sensation, burning or excessive tearing. Although both contain hyaluronic acid, Hylo Comod is used for daily eye care, while Hylo Gel, which has the highest concentration of hyaluronic acid, is used in severe and persistent cases of discomfort accompanied by a feeling of dryness.
Is Hylo Dual similar to Hylo Parin?
The two products are not similar, the difference being in their composition. Hylo Dual moisturises the conjunctiva and cornea and protects against excessive tear evaporation. It relieves inflammation and is recommended for allergies and irritated eyes. Hylo Dual contains sodium hyaluronate, ectoine, boric acid, borax and water for injections - it moisturises, lubricates and cares for the cornea and conjunctiva and relieves irritation caused by the environment. Hylo Parin contains sodium hyaluronate, 1300 IU sodium heparin, anhydrous citric acid, glycerol, sodium citrate and water for injections. Unlike Hylo Dual, it also combats redness of the eye.
Hylo or Vizik? Which are better?
Both drops are used to moisturise and care for the eyes – especially recommended for dry and tired eyes. They contain sodium hyaluronate, which soothes the eyes, reduces discomfort, moisturises and lubricates. Hylo contains 0.1% hyaluronic acid, while Vizik contains 0.15% sodium hyaluronate.
Hylo or Systane Ultra?
Both types of eye drops are lubricating, soothing, moisturise the surface of the eyes and relieve discomfort. They are recommended for dryness, irritation and burning sensation. Choose the eye drops recommended by your doctor, depending on your individual needs.
Hylo or DexaTobrom?
These two types of drops are completely different. Hylo are lubricating and soothing eye drops based on sodium hyaluronate, while DexaTobrom are drops based on dexamethasone and tobramycin – a corticosteroid and an antibiotic. DexaTobrom is recommended for eye inflammation.
