3M™ Steri-Strip Reinforced Adhesive Skin Sutures are the first adhesive sutures, with a non-woven microporous backing to let the skin breathe and reinforced filaments for added strength.
These strip-like sutures are the equivalent of stitches or threads for minor surgery. These microporous strips are made of polyester fibers and a hypoallergenic adhesive, which bond skin tissue together to close small wounds.
They have a hypoallergenic adhesive layer in synthetic acrylic with high adhesive power.
The adhesive is pressure sensitive for superior tack.
