Artelac® Splash Multi-Dose is ideal for hydration and instant relief of dry eyes caused by environmental factors. It is a clear solution in the form of eye drops. It contains no preservatives. It can be used for 12 weeks after opening. It contains the natural polymer sodium hyaluronate, which is found in the structures of the healthy human eye and in the tear film. It is indicated to moisten and rewet soft and rigid contact lenses while they are worn, making your lenses much more comfortable all day long. It is easy to use, well tolerated, and safe. Please read these instructions for use carefully: they contain important information on how to use this product.

Composition: The solution contains 0.24% sodium hyaluronate and excipients including sterile water, sodium chloride, potassium chloride, disodium phosphate dodecahydrate, and sodium dihydrogen phosphate dihydrate. It does not contain preservatives.

Intended use of Artelac® Splash Multidose: Artelac® Splash Multidose is specifically indicated to refresh and moisten dry eyes caused by external environmental factors. These factors often include excessive computer use, air-conditioned indoor environments, lack of blinking, cigarette smoke, and windy outdoor environments. In addition, some medications (such as the contraceptive pill, antihistamines, beta-blockers, antispasmodics, and diuretics), some diseases, or preservatives contained in certain eye drops can play a role in the development of dry eyes. Artelac® Splash Multidose moisturizes to relieve dry eye symptoms such as irritated, dry, or tired eyes, foreign body sensations, or watery eyes. Due to the properties of this product, its use may also be beneficial for consumers who suffer from chronic dry eyes.

How to Use Artelac® Splash Multidose: The patented pumping mechanism of Artelac® Splash ensures that the drops of solution are preservative-free, but they are not similar to other multidose containers you have used.

1. Before each use, remove the protective cap from the top of the bottle. Make sure your fingers do not touch the top of the bottle. Place your thumb and index finger on the circular disc at the top of the bottle (light blue area) near the bottle cap, and your pinky finger on the bottom of the bottle. Use your other fingers to hold the bottle.

2. Before using for the first time, press down several times, about 7 times, until the first drop appears. Hold the bottle as shown.

3. To instill the drop, tilt your head slightly back and hold the bottle over your eyes. Using the index finger of your free hand, gently pull down your lower eyelid, hold the bottle upright, and firmly press the valve to apply the drop to your eye. Close your eyes and move them gently to distribute the drop evenly over the entire surface of your eye.

4. Avoid contact of the end of the container with your eyes or fingers to prevent any possible contamination of the solution. Replace the protective cap on the end of the bottle immediately after use.

How often should you use Artelac® Splash? Apply 1 drop of Artelac® Splash multidose to your eye whenever you feel the need. As it does not contain a preservative, you can use it every day as often as you need. Important information on the use of Artelac® Splash multidose In rare cases, this product may cause hypersensitivity reactions such as local allergic reactions. Treatment should not be continued in such cases. To increase tolerability, Artelac® Splash multidose does not contain any preservatives. The drip mechanism allows you to use Artelac® Splash multidose for 12 weeks (3 months) after opening. Do not use Artelac® Splash multidose after the expiry date.
