Cinnamon bark is a complex mixture of numerous substances. It is characterized by its antioxidant properties. Cinnamic acid has a positive effect on lipid peroxidation and cholesterol levels. Recent studies indicate a beneficial effect on blood sugar levels and glucose metabolism, which is attributed to the water-soluble components of cinnamon bark (flavonoids – methylhydroxychalcone polymers MHCP). Additional cinnamon intake is particularly beneficial for diabetics.

Raw material description:
Our raw material is cultivated in Guangxi Province, South China. The cinnamon bark extract used has a drug-to-extract ratio of 10:1 and a flavonoid content of > 5%. Water is used as the extraction solvent to prevent the essential oils from being extracted, thus minimizing the risk of allergic reactions. The coumarin content is safe. The gelatin used in the hard gelatin capsules is BSE/TSE-tested pharmaceutical-grade gelatin.
