The COSMOPOR sterile wound dressing (5 x 7.2 cm) from ACA MüllerIADAG Pharma AG is a sterile, self-adhesive dressing for the secure covering of wounds. It is particularly suitable for postoperative wound care and for the sterile treatment of minor injuries. Thanks to its skin-friendly properties, the dressing is also specifically designed for patients with particularly sensitive skin.

Application areas

This dressing is used to cover fresh surgical wounds, reliably protecting them from external influences. It can also be used for minor, sterile injuries. Its skin-friendly composition makes it particularly suitable for sensitive skin types.

Application and handling

Before applying the COSMOPOR sterile wound dressing, the affected area of ​​skin should be thoroughly cleaned and dried. Then, position the self-adhesive dressing with the wound-contact layer centered over the wound and press it down gently without tension. Ensure that the wound area is completely covered and that the dressing adheres well to the surrounding skin.

Special characteristics

The wound dressing consists of a soft backing fleece that ensures comfortable wear. The wound contact layer, made of fine-mesh polyethylene netting, lies directly on the wound. The hypoallergenic polyacrylate adhesive used provides skin-friendly adhesion and is therefore particularly suitable for patients with sensitive skin.
