Cosmos ® Hydrocolloid Abrasion Patch is a sterile, self-adhesive patch especially recommended for the treatment of knee and elbow abrasions. The patch effectively supports the skin's natural healing mechanism and relieves pain.
What distinguishes Cosmos ® Abrasions hydrocolloid patches?
Each Hartmann Cosmos ® Abrasions patch contains a hydrocolloid layer that absorbs the exudate and turns it into a gel-like substance. Due to this, it provides adequate cushioning of the injured area and eliminates the feeling of friction and pressure. Unlike traditional plasters, which are based on the principle of wound healing in a dry environment, hydrocolloidal plaster is based on the mechanism of wound healing in a moist environment (occlusive properties).
The package contains 4 hydrocolloid patches in one size, individually packed to ensure sterility.
