Cutifass Ointment
CE medical device, class II, sterile.Ointment indicated for the local treatment of acute wounds (I and II degree burns, dermabrasion, hypertrophic scars, traumatic wounds and other skin lesions), chronic wounds (venous and arterial ulcers, bedsores) by promoting granulation and epithelialization, irritations resulting from post-excision treatment and post-surgical scars, irritations caused by sun exposure, diaper rash.
- Soothing activity: reduces both pain and itching.
- Moisturizing activity: creates a microclimate that favors healing.
The bacteriostatic and bactericidal effect limits the risk of infection in uninfected wounds and/or wounds at risk of infection and eliminates unpleasant odors.
- Anti-inflammatory and absorbent activity, resulting in a lower amount of exudate, which ensures an adequate level of moisture and better healing.
- It does not adhere to tissues, and removal is painless.
- Due to its characteristics, its application is indicated for those parts of the body that are difficult to treat (anatomical folds).
- Promotes epithelialization after chemical or laser peeling and in postoperative areas.
How to use
The treatment involves one or more applications per day, depending on each case. Depending on the severity, extent and location of the symptoms, these applications may be limited to simple massages for absorption or it may be necessary to cover the affected area according to the recommended application methods:
- clean the wound thoroughly with saline solution (do not use hydrogen peroxide).
If an antiseptic was used, wash thoroughly with saline solution before applying the ointment. (Fig. 1)
- Apply an even layer of 2-3 mm on a sterile compress. (Fig. 2)
- Apply the soaked compress directly to the wound. (Fig. 3)
- Then cover with a bandage or adhesive plaster. (Fig. 4)
- Repeat application every 48/72 hours, as necessary.

Do not use if you have an adverse reaction to any of the product's components.
In case of adverse reactions, consult your doctor.
Do not use hydrogen peroxide.
In case of burns, you may feel slight pain when applying the ointment, which will improve after a few minutes.
For deep wounds, it is not necessary to apply more gauze at the same time or more ointment.
In case of redness in the perilesional areas, cover with Vaseline cream.
The product is for single use and cannot be sterilized.
Keep out of reach of children.
Conservation
Store the product away from damp areas, heat sources and do not expose it to light.

Cutifass ointment is packaged in a gamma-sterilized tube, a process according to ISO 11137 standard.
